STF sealing ring and grease perfectly “mutually beneficial coexist”

On both ends of the newly developed rolling bearing, corresponding sealing devices are installed.
On the one hand, its function is to keep the grease (oil) inside the bearing not lost in use to ensure that the bearing is in a lubrication state, and on the other hand, to protect dust or harmful gases from the outside of the bearing from entering the inner cavity of the bearing to prevent damage to the bearing.
Commonly, there are rubber or engineering plastic sealing rings, as well as steel sheet punched sealing rings (or dustproof covers).
The sealing structure of the seal ring is diverse, and its sealing effect is also different. If there is a gap between the sealing ring and the hinge, it is called a non-contact seal. The smaller the gap, the better the sealing effect, but the smaller the speed allowed shaft; on the contrary.
If there is no gap between the sealing ring and the hinge, it is called a contact seal. The larger the contact area of the contact lip of the sealing ring, the better the sealing effect, but the smaller the speed allowed shaft, and vice versa. The main research content of sealing technology is to research and develop the corresponding sealing devices applied to different working conditions, as well as the blending of the sealing ring material and the corresponding grease. At present, STF sealing ring and grease can coexist in mutual benefit from practical application.
