SPGO type bidirectional piston seal is a compact double-acting hydraulic piston seal, also known as Glyd ring. It is composed of a bronze-filled PTFE sliding ring and an elastic energizer (NBR/FKM O-ring). The elastomer provides pre-tension force, pushing the PTFE sealing surface tightly against the cylinder bore to block hydraulic fluid bypass on both sides of the piston, realizing bidirectional sealing for double-acting hydraulic cylinders.
The PTFE sliding ring delivers ultra-low friction coefficient and anti-stick-slip performance, eliminating crawling during low-speed reciprocating movement. With excellent wear resistance and chemical stability, the SPGO piston seal can withstand working pressure up to 35 MPa. Its operating temperature ranges from -30℃ to 160℃, depending on the energizer material. It supports reciprocating speed up to 1.5 m/s, ideal for frequent cyclic operation.
